How do you size a bat?
The correct bat size is dependent on your child's height and weight. There are a variety of resources online you can turn to in order to help you select the right bat. It is often helpful to talk to your coach or employees at Dick's before purchasing a bat to ensure you find one that is the right fit.

The Season
Why do we need to go to evaluations?
Evaluations are important so we can make sure our teams are evenly matched. This makes for more fun play and competition, and is great for learning, as different players have different strengths and together everyone can learn from one another.
Do we need to go to both evaluations?
No. You do not need to go to both evaluations, however if you'd like to attend both you may.
What if we can’t make it to evaluations?
Please send an email to [email protected] with your players name and league registration (Majors, AAA, AA). If you are attending one of the upcoming clinics let us know that as well. A board member will then reach out to you to find a time that works for everyone to complete your evaluation.
How are teams selected?
Head coaches and player agents meet at the end of March once all players have been evaluated to select even teams so we can ensure a league that is evenly matched.
When do we find out who our coach/team is?
Your coach will reach out to you at the end of March or early April once all the teams have been selected. He/She will also provide your team roster and information on setting up Gamechanger.
What is Gamechanger?
Gamechanger is a Sports Connect app that the league uses to communicate. Coaches will use this to send reminders about games and practices. This is also used to keep track of positions and batting order in all games. You can connect this to your digital calendar (Google, Apple) and have your Little League schedule automatically populate.
When are practices and games?
Typically games are played Monday - Saturday and practices are on Sunday. Additional weekday practices may be added by your coach.
Is there a set schedule?
No, your schedule will change weekly. The full schedule will be released in early April, once teams are selected.
Can I play another sport in the spring?
Yes, many of our players play travel ball, basketball, soccer or flag football. There may be conflicts so be sure to notify your coach ASAP when there is so they can call up players to ensure they can field a full team.
When do practices start?
Based on weather conditions practices will start soon after teams are notified. Figure early April, but it will depend.
When do games start?
Games will start on opening day, Saturday, April 12. They will be played the following week, then we will have a 1 week pause for Spring Break (some teams may have optional practices) Games will then resume the week of April 28.
When does the season end?
The season ends in early June, typically around when school gets out.

All Stars
What are All Stars?
The Little League All Stars Tournament is a competitive post-season competition where All Stars teams from each league compete for a District Championship, with winners advancing to the State Tournament.
How are All Stars selected?
Players must meet age requirements and have participated in at least 12 regular-season games to be eligible for All Star consideration.
All Star teams are selected for the following divisions:
Selection Process:
- Players vote for fellow players within their own division.
- Managers and coaches also vote.
- League Player Agent, along with the Board, oversees the process to ensure fairness.
Selected players must commit to practices and games. If a player can’t commit, an alternate may be selected.
